On 18 September 2023, in Tanzania, around 30 women parliamentarians from Africa convened for a high-level dialogue. The aim was to draw parallels online violence against women journalists and the experiences of women in politics while developing effective responses to this growing issue. The dialogue coincided with the International Day for Democracy on 15 September.
