Submitted by iKNOW Politics on Wed, 2007-08-08 11:55
Summary:

This manual specifically seeks to build understanding of gender responsive budgeting as a tool for promoting gender equity, accountability to women’s rights as well as efficiency and transparency in budget policies and processes. It adds value to the wealth of training resources on GRB firstly through a focus on the applicability of gender responsive budgeting to reproductive health and secondly through a presentation of sector-specific examples and case studies dealing with maternal health, gender and HIV/AIDS, and violence against women.
