Description:
UNDP Kyrgyzstan will hold a conference on “Monitoring of civil society over international and national commitments of the Kyrgyz Republic on achieving gender equality”.
Objective of the conference:
Approaches analysis for identifying the joint vision of state authorities and civil society mechanisms for monitoring and evaluation of national commitments on gender equality.
Tasks:
∙ Analysis and discussion of existing models and practices for monitoring and evaluation over implementation of international and national commitments on gender equality by civil society;
∙ Definition of problem areas in conducting of internal and external monitoring and evaluation over implementation of international and national commitments on gender equality;
∙ Development of a shared vision of mechanisms for independent monitoring and evaluation needed for government structures and is a part of the process of implementation and adaptation of national policies in this area.
In this regard, we would like to invite well known experts from your countries that have experience in this area. If you have experts you can recommend please let us know. We will cover all their expenses for participation.
