Women Can Do It is a program to train women in participating in decision making processes, politics, and governance. It is implemented in collaboration between the Women’s Union of the Norwegian Labor Party, Norwegian People's Aid (NPA) and local partner organisations.

The assessment is designed to identify the specific elements and approaches which were most effective in encouraging women’s participation and leadership in political parties. Although drawn from NDI programs, the information gathered in this assessment is intended to be used by both individuals and organizations as a road map to help facilitate women’s political leadership worldwide.

This guidebook provides a brief and simple references on gender mainstreaming in legislative processes. In particular, the guide focuses on two of the three principal functions of the House of Representative (DPR) in Indonesia, namely producing legislation and forming budgets.
