About Me
- My Biography and Story
Tugba Kalafatoglu was born in Istanbul, Turkey. After graduating from Koç Özel Lisesi, Ram Private High School. Ms. Kalafatoglu received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Pre-Law from University of Nebraska at Omaha with Honors. She has also attended the Bryce & Harlow Business and Government Affairs Institute at Georgetown University. She has her masters degree in International Affairs, Business & Law from Georgetown University, Washington D.C. USA.
Ms. Kalafatoğlu has been a leader in international business and politics as a consultant. She has worked at many campaings nationally and internationally as a campaign manager, GOTV director, fundraiser and a lobbyist.
She has involved in American Presidential Election in 1996-2000 and 2004.
She worked at Washington Times as an International Project Director in Washington, D.C. USA and at Legi-Slate Washington Post as a Legislative Analyst in Washington D.C.
She has spoken in many conferences, special events as a speaker in her expertises in many countries. She gave many seminars around nation about cultural diversity, leadership skills, power and values in organizations, building coalition and grassroots,lobbying,political communication & campaigns, globalization, running for political office and how to be successful in international business arena.
She is a distinguished writer. She has two books named “ Unity and Disunity in Balkans” and “ Cultural Impacts on Global Business”. She is working on two book as a contributor, one is about public speaking and other one is globalization to be published in USA.
Ms. Kalafatoglu has been involved in the community and received awards because of her hard work and dedication. In U.S.A. she was chosen Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities & Colleges in 1996,1997,1998. In 2006,2007,2008,2009 and 2010 she has been included in Who’s Who in the World, which distinguishes her as one of the leading achievers from around the world. She has been selected to be included in Who's Who in America 2009 and 2010 and Who’s Who in Finance and Business 2009-2010 which distinguishes her the most accomplished and influential individual.
In 2006,She has received the "Outstanding Intellectual of the 21st Century Medal" in honor of making an outstanding contribution in the field of politics, law and business. Also recently she has been chosen as a “ Great Minds of the 21st Century”. She is chosen “ Woman of THE YEAR 2007” because of her high achievements in her life.
In 2003, she was elected to Turkish party as a youngest person in the political history age of 29. She held the position as a Vice President of a Party called Youth Party.
For her extraordinary work in the field of politics, TUGBA KALAFATOGLU was named a 2009 Outstanding Young Person of the World (JCI TOYP) recipient in the category of political, legal and/or governmental affairs.
