I am a Kenyan young woman. On reading your writing on women and 2008 election in Ghana, I am thrilled. This is such an enlighting piece of work both for the women and the male fraternity. The article clearly illustrate that the governments and men of this world owe to the women because for long no one has heard their voice. I particularly like the idea of women advocacy groups and thought that we really need one in Kenya. I am an aspiring woman leader with very little knowledge of how I can go about actualising my dream. I have observed with much anguish how our politicians lie to their voters during campaign period. I wish to be part of the change. There are pertinent social, economic, and developments issues that need to be addressed urgently especially at the grassroot levels. I would really love to mobolise more women to participate in decision-making processes and I need direction in this.
