India: Women Poll Agents Deployed to Check Veiled Voters

To curb impersonation, bogus voting and to avoid inconvenience to burqa-clad women going to vote on Thursday, the election authorities and political parties in Muslim dominated areas have deployed woman polling agents. Besides, woman police personnel would man the polling booths in women dominated polling stations.
