Women's Leadership Education Program
Our Center promotes women's leadership in the US and around the world through our graduate education program. Recent students come from countries in Africa, South America, and Asia (including two this year from Pakistan). We are launching an online program for women's political leadership -- including one in Farsi for women in Iran. Culture Matters – Working with Communities and Faith-based Organizations
This report provides insight into integrating cultural analysis in development programmes, especially in the critical areas of gender equity and equality and reproductive health and rights. The culmination of two years' work with UNFPA field offices, headquarters staff and technical advisers, the report examines culturally sensitive programming during the past decade in a number of countries where UNFPA operates- Brazil, Ghana, Guatemala, India, Islamic Republic of Iran, Uganda and Yemen.
Towards Inclusive Governance: Promoting the Participation of Disadvantaged Groups in Asia-Pacific
This publication examines the application of the principles of non-discrimination, participation, accountability and empowerment in governance arenas. It promotes the use of a human rights-based approach to programming on inclusive governance and presents lessons learnt in eight Asia-Pacific countries through ten case studies.

This guide is the first of its kind to provide an overview of the current range of local representative arrangements and electoral systems in Asia and the Pacific.
