The women in the rural communities are facing high levels of aggression inflicted on them mostly by Men. The abused women i interviewed the time i was compiling footage for my documentary Luapula Province of Zambia, most of them mentioned that they were not ready to report the abuse to any authorities for fear of losing their marriages or embarrassing their husbands. Despite, this silence the aggression against these women is getting worse resulting to high rates of murder cases, increased women vulnerability to HIV/AIDS and low confidence levels among women. All stakeholders in this world should help speak out for these women, how can these problems be solved if the women themselves are not showing enough willingness to report the aggressions?
