Allied Media Conference

Location: Wayne State University, Detroit, MI
Description: The Allied Media Conference is an annual, weekend-long gathering of influential, underground media makers and committed social justice activists. It has become the primary forum in the U.S. for building a large-scale social movement around media issues that centers issues of race, class, gender and other systems of oppression. This day of the conference will feature a Symposium on Popular Education.
