United Nations Inter-Agency Network on Women and Gender Equality
The Inter-Agency Network on Women and Gender Equality (IANWGE) is a network of United Nations offices, specialized agencies, funds and programmes. The network supports and monitors the implementation of the Beijing Platform for Action and other gender-related recommendations from UN General Assembly special sessions, conferences and summits. It also monitors and oversees the mainstreaming of a gender perspective in the programmatic, normative and operational work of the UN system.
