The road map must make women partners in sustainable development, while considering their education needs and family obligations, said the chair of the General Women's Union.

Sheikha Fatima was amongst leaders to congratulate Emirati women on their achievements for Emirati Women’s Day, which was celebrated on Thursday.

As COVID-19 continues to ravage communities, the need to support women and women’s organizations in humanitarian action has become urgent. Through participatory videos, women in Bangladesh, Colombia, Jordan and Uganda share their perspectives.

Co-hosted by international activist and Miss Universe, Zozibini Tunzi, the event featured performances by international artists and vibrant conversations about social justice, peace and security and the impact of COVID-19 on youth.
