Invitation to panel discussion on Rights, Participation and Democracy in Bolivia

The Women's Rights and Citizenship and Peace, Conflict and Development programs at IDRC, along with the Just Governance Group, invites to a panel discussion on Rights, Participation and Democracy in Bolivia.

The panel will examine the current tensions in democracy in Bolivia within the framework of human rights, women's rights, citizen participation, indigenous identity and social conflict. Can a plurinational constitutional project be translated into practice in an inclusive participatory democracy that respects the human rights of all Bolivians: women and men; urban and rural; aboriginal and indigenous peoples and mestizos?
