The Association of Female Lawyers of Liberia has launched an endowment fund under the Danish Project for victims of gender based violence. AFELL recently secured a US$1.2M grant from the Danish government through the United Nations Fund for Population Activities (UNFPA) to provide capacity building and institutional support to AFELL in its advocacy role and the handling of gender-based violence cases through the judicial system.
