This article looks at three collaborative projects between international development organisations and district assemblies throughout Ghana to promote gender sensitivity and increase the representation of women in local governance.

This report presents the findings of the second component of the African Political Party Finance Initiative, which aimed to increase awareness about the need for transparent and accountable party financing and to promote reforms appropriate to the respective country contexts, specifically in Gha
