Getting it Right, Doing it Right: Gender and Disarmament, Demobilization and Reintegration

This handbook calls upon participants and decision-makers to consider the needs of women and girls in disarmament, demobilization and reintegration (DDR) processes. It provides the insight, knowledge and tools that will allow policy makers and practitioners to achieve the objectives set out in Security Council Resolution 1325 on women, peace and security.
