Women's Empowerment: Measuring the Global Gender Gap

This report assesses the size of the gender gap in fifty-eight countries, including all thirty countries in the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and twenty-eight other countries from the "emerging market" world. It measures the extent of gender equality in five critical areas: economic opportunity, economic participation, political empowerment, educational attainment, and health and well-being.
