Fatuma Gedi Ali is a Member of the National Assembly in Kenya. She is the current Women representatives for Wajir County. She has been a member of Orange Democratic Movement since January 18th 2013. In 2013, when she was 26, she vied for a women representative seat and she won to become the first women representative for Wajir county.

This interview was conducted in November 2017 in Ottawa, Canada, during the Inter-parliamentary Union's Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians.
