The University of Massachusetts Boston is offering a Graduate Certificate on ‘Gender, Leadership and Public Policy’. This is a track in the Masters of Public Administration of the UMass Boston designed to prepare women to become successful civil servants at all levels of government, go for advanced degrees mostly related to law or to public policy, follow political careers, or to take on leadership roles in NGOs.
The program was previously known as ‘Women in Politics and Public Policy Graduate Certificate Program’ and has been awarded by the American Association of University Women and by the University Continuing Education Association.
The curriculum includes topics such as political history, managerial competencies, gender analysis, quantitative & qualitative methodologies, etc.
