The Changing Faces of Power: Women in Politics

The Sewall-Belmont House & Museum is excited to present "The Changing Faces of Power: Women in Politics" series with the League of Women Voters. This three-part conversation will explore the impact that women are making on the political discussion and landscape in our country.
Moderated by Eleanor Clift, author and political commentator, we open the series with a forum on Women as Candidates on Wednesday, November 14th from 6:30 - 8:30 pm at the Sewall-Belmont House & Museum.
Women are seeking elected office in higher numbers than ever. What are the challenges and sometimes advantages in running for office as a woman? How are women shaping the national debate and what makes running for office as a woman different? These and many other questions will be answered at this first forum.
