Join the Global Institute for Women's Leadership on Thursday 3 October for an event on the pivotal role women have played throughout the history of British politics.

Director Professor Rosie Campbell, will be joined by Cathy Newman, journalist at Channel 4 News and author of Bloody Brilliant Women: The Pioneers, Revolutionaries and Geniuses Your History Teacher Forgot to Mention, and our Chair, Julia Gillard, to discuss how women always mattered in politics – but not everyone noticed.
