Training workshop for women candidates in Trinidad and Tobago

CIWiL will be hosting an event entitled “Women in Politics: An information and training workshop for female candidates in the Tobago House of Assembly Election and Trinidad Local Government Bye-Election”.

This event aims to create a space for female candidates and their campaign teams to better understand the THA and Local Government legislation, the importance of gender in governance and how to manage a winning, gender responsive campaign.

CIWiL is a networking organisation committed to advancing transformational leadership and increasing the numbers of women in leadership and decision-making in political and civic life, proportionate to the female population in Caribbean countries.
