Ghana: PPP government will empower women when voted into power-Nana Ofori

Nana Owusu Ofori, Effutu Constituency Progressive People’s Party (PPP), parliamentary aspirant, has said the empowerment of women would be a priority of a government of the PPP. Nana Ofori was addressing a harvest, organized by the Ebenezer Methodist Church Women’s Ministry at Winneba. He noted that women play important role in national development, and stressed that the PPP would empower women to enable them to meaningfully contribute to national development. Nana Ofori said a PPP government would also promote child-girl education.
