On 14 March, following International Women’s Day, The European Endowment for Democracy (EED) and the International Republican Institute’s (IRI) Women’s Democracy Network (WDN) organized the panel “Women Leaders: The solution to peace and security”, which focused on women’s role in rebuilding societies. Four women from Moldova, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Tunisia and Libya shared the challenges they faced in their countries and their stories that brought them into politics.
