Women in Cameroon at large are poorly represented in Pialiament an Municipal structures and participate less in decision-making processes.

Over the years leadership has been male deminated in all aspects of economic, social, cultural and political life at the level of the household, quarter, village, municipal and national levels.

So, this conference has come at the right time when Cameroon will be having the Presidental election in 2011, Parliamentary and Municipal coming up in 2012.

As a leader who is aspiring for Parliamentary  post, I am interested in taken part in this wounderful event so that I can share my experience from Cameroon and if I can get a sponsor, I will be grateful.

Quite more than usual women in politics are very vunarable to institutional and societal  blockage.Getting to a tune of achieving a 50/50 gender parity situation  becoming very dicy, i believe this conference is coming at  a right time when most African states are yet to have General elections , Uganda inclussive in 2011.

As a Young Woman leader who is active in  party politics at both local and National levels, this is very benefficial , am  intrested to be a part of this historical event  if i can get a sponser  so that i may share experience from Uganda.
